Valentine’s Day snow

Brrr!  In a surprising change from last week’s weather, the Pacific Northwest is experiencing the race of Artic air streaming down from the north.  So, while last week I was able to hike without even wearing a jacket (it was so warm!) last night brought a flurry of slushy snow to the land.  Temperatures are expected to remain quite brisk this week down in the 20’s at night.  But, I would not expect the snow to stick around for too long.
Despite the snow, our Mountain Loop neighbor, aka the Green Mountain Reporter, Gayle, took these few photos today from our back entrance.  There’s our mountain view in one of them, and in another a couple of workers prepping our barn site.
