Finally…the dirt gets moved!

We’ve been waiting for this next step in the construction of our home.  Why there was a 3 week delay, we are still sorting that one out.
The bottleneck of grading the dirt around the house was dependent upon the inspection of the work that was done in the trenches with utility lines and plumbing.  We needed the dirt moved in order to begin the second floor which require that cement pads be poured for the log columns that support the turrets of the master bedroom suites.  Grrr…
But its’s done!  The construction crew will be out full time working again on Tuesday.  I’ll be up there again on Wednesday where I’ll take pictures, work on some gates and try some fencing.
