This is This…and That is That

House construction 11-16-06Time for a tour through our current home becoming…

Here we are this past Friday afternoon.  You may notice that we have some windows with their trim up!

With all this rainy weather recently, construction tarps are the order of the day.

All of our windows on the second floor of the house are installed, we are just waiting for the large trapazoid glass for the front.

Here is the view from the inside and from the outside of Tim’s turret:

And while the business with the windows is all well and good, the crew focused every break in the weather onto the roof.  They were working to put the weatherproofing underlayment on to the roof and stayed late of Friday so that two sections on the turrets are the only remaining parts to be covered.

Luckily, Friday turned out to be just cloudy without that chance of rain.  So, they got most of it done.  Saturday was our turn at the house.  Glenn and I whipped up a construction site cleaning frenzy and got all the scrap and debris bagged or burned.

Meanwhile, the mountain has decided to collect a little snow.  Surely this is a good thing as long as we don’t have another Pineapple Express come through and melt it.
