We’ll be in the back lower area of the land with a huge bonfire of stumps and a big backhoe to toss them on to the fire on Memorial Day. It sure is a sight to see!
We’ll be starting early in the morning and going into the evening. Bring a lawn chair and join us!
We’ll be starting early in the morning and going into the evening and expect to have drop-in visitors all throughout the day for the bonfire. Families and children are especially welcome (kids love to watch heavy equipment at work!) You can make a holiday drive out of it and have lunch at the Mountain View Inn restaurant, about 2 miles further up the road. We’ll have grain available if you wish to feed the llamas too!
If you do come and visit, just park near the house and walk on down to the end of the pastures…follow the smoke! You should plan to wear shoes or boots that you would if you went hiking. Directions to the ranch are on our website, and we’re only 50 miles from downtown Seattle.
The weather says it is going to be a nice sunny day, perfect for a drive up the Mtn Loop Hwy.
Here are some pics from last year’s bonfire…
