Summer’s Harvest and some beautiful old growth trees

8-20-07 Garden harvest 003 Well, we can already feel summer’s edge backing away even before the Labor Day weekend.  It’s been very nice out here at the ranch with these nice warm days though.  We’ve been harvesting zucchini now left and right.

We also did a first pass through on our sugar snap peas, yummy!  There are still some more to go pick.

08-25-07 Ceremony at the old growth trees for Fozz 002 This past weekend I had the opportunity to attend a wonderful memorial service for a friend at the gay campground.  It took place up at the old growth trees so I was able to snap a few pictures of these behemoths.  After the memorial, the group headed back down to our ranch where we hosted a gathering for them.  It was the first time we had hosted an event for someone else here at the ranch.

08-26-07 Llama hike down to the river 003 For those that stayed overnight, the next day we took the llamas down to the river on the easy Robe Canyon Hiking Trail.  Of course the dogs had to come running after us and ended up attending as well.

Check out all the pictures in the photo album!
