Yours Truly Gets Opinionated

BBQ 6-12-06 007Looks like I’ve got one for the scrapbook as yours truly gets published in the Seattle Times today as the opinion piece under the Snohomish County Opinion section.  I even get a mugshot thrown in there too!

For those of you not in the "loop"  quite yet, there is a proposal submitted to the county to develop a motocross track on the Mountain Loop Highway, a national scenic byway.  Well, needless to say, this has many of the residents very concerned.  I am most concerned that the county proceed with utmost caution in how it allows this type of development to occur.  I mean we are talking about a project that will have a large footprint where ever it gets located; certainly it is not a Green footprint and certainly not along a route like the Mountain Loop.  Quite simply, it has to be done right if done at all.

David, congrats on the editorial!  I couldn\’t agree more, that a motocross track in that area should be looked at hard and long.  It def will have an impact!  Thanks for the positive energy.  I had noticed that you had posted new pics and blogs and have been meaning to get over here for a couple of days now.  BTW, how is the blessing shaping up.  I am sure that just your positive spirit will formulate it just right.
    Blessed be
PS  Looks like you had a great time when you were in town.  Wish I had attended!

    Have a creepy Halloween!
    Go ahead, change your routine.
Toss your cares in a ravine.
And let your house become unclean.
Give voice to a piercing keen –
By all means, create a scene.
    Powers of darkness now convene;
    Night spirits careen unseen.
Dress like a queen and preen,
Or dress like a ghost really mean.
Eat some candy – the best cuisine,
But not so much that you turn green.

Thanks for surfing by, so I thought lets go and surf over to your space. Wow what a writer you are, so eloquently done, you could be  book writer. Any way you sure have a lot going on up there in the mountains. Sounds like a great place to live. Congrats on your opinions being published in the Seattle Times, good luck with that. I truly enjoyed reading your posts, some are more gifted then others, and you are. Have a Haunted Halloween and watch out for you know who, LOL as ever Deanie

Thank you for visiting the PAINTING STUDIO  and for your comments.  Space is only as deep as one makes it as is  World News.   The impact and power of the machine shines on.   Greeener.   We have to have a planet for the kinder.  Our legesy is our space.   Polar night caps drip in my eyes, A thousand eagles cry.  Saints fall from the sky in prayer, for these days.  Are in your hands.  As ever be well.  Stephen Craig Rowe

Alpacas huh? I\’ve been spat at by one of them before…they\’re…strange. Like sheep that got tall, or…deer that got wooly. Anyway, good luck with that expressway thing.
